Holly Doll: Sharing Your Gifts

Growing up, Holly felt disconnected to her culture. After working as a tour guide in a state park, she started to discover a passion, love, and appreciation for her Native American heritage which sparked the inspiration for her current career as an artist and advocate.

During this event, Holly shared her experiences with accepting her culture and sharing her gifts to grow her community.

Jeanne Hettich Farnsworth: Secrets, Shame, & Community

Jeanne Hettich Farnsworth, introduced our year of building community with "Secrets, Shame, & Community"! She shared a deeply personal story of welcoming in vulnerability in order to connect rather than isolate.

Brene Brown has written, "I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship." Jeanne will encourage you to examine what holds you back from connection with community.

“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.”
